Calling artists from all disciplines: Illustration to Film, Dance to Photography, Theatre to Fine Art, we want to hear from you! BOUNDARIES will collate work from a broad range of artists and create a dialogue between them. We aim to provide a platform for different disciplines and will work closely with all our artists to accommodate their unique practice.

Once selected, the chosen artists will be asked to create a secondary piece inspired by another artists submission. In doing so we hope to not only create a dialogue between each artist, but also through the selected works on display.

To ensure variety and challenge, each artist will be allocated their secondary response submission. You will will have one month to complete this piece of work prior to the opening night.

Please note that this is an unpaid opportunity. All 'pay what you can' proceeds will go directly back into the running of the event.

The exhibition will be exploring Boundaries as theme and concept. Submitted work must demonstrate its relation to BOUNDARIES.

The exhibition will run from April 7th 2017 - April 10th 2017.

Please do not apply if you will not be available for these chosen dates.

All applicants must be available for monthly meetings in Edinburgh between January - April 2017.

Selected artists will each be given a “pod” in which to showcase their work. Within the larger exhibition space, these pods will create boundaries that we will ask you to work with and explore. DelvesintoHollis will work closely with each artist to help develop their space.

Submissions should demonstrate an innovative way of working within an enclosed environment.

We are looking for artists that will approach, explore and work with the boundaries of their “pod” in unconventional and exciting ways.

Each pod will measure approximately 2m L x 1.6m W x 2m H.
